1-Where do you call home currently?  Lviv, Ukraine.

2-Did you study art or is it all inherent?  Yes, I studied art, specifically graphic design and then in printmaking.

3-What do you dream about?  Nice house with beautiful garden, happy family and a big studio where I can paint.

4-How did you acquire your style?  It happened naturally, from childhood I’ve always been painting in this kind of style. 

5-What else interests you besides art?  Psychology, philosophy, ancient cultures, traveling, sports.

6-Who is your favorite artist?  I can’t emphasize  someone specific, I like many artists: Matisse, Gauguin, Basquiat, Munch, Chagall, Modigliani, Bosch, Botticelli and many more.

7-What advice would you give putative collectors?  Don’t look for beautiful pictures, look for the idea that hooks your soul. 

8-What is the origin of each of your paintings (imagination, inspiration….)?  Experience and imagination.

9-Do you listen to music while creating? If yes, what genre?  Mostly I paint in silence,  I can feel my heart better and create an idea. If it’s an automatic work kind of mixing paints or adding details I can listen to audiobooks, podcasts or classic rock/ambient.

10-Do you have any other source of income besides art?  No

11-Do you have a place/person/thing that you visit for inspiration?  My inspiration is my life and things that happen around me.

12-If you could have dinner with three artists living/dead who would be at your table?  Grayson Perry, Henri Matisse, Ai Weiwei

13-Name three things you can’t live without in your studio?  Paints, brushes, water
